AbleGamers and Twitch Join To Spotlight Disabled Gamers

This week just got a lot more inspiring for us gamers! AbleGamers has partnered with Twitch to launch a week long joint community spotlight series featuring disabled gamers. AbleGamers, also known as AbleGamers Charity, is nonprofit public charity that aims to improve the overall quality of life for those with disabilities through the power of video games. With the help of Twitch, AbleGamers are showcasing their most popular gamers!

“Each day highlights a new streamer, educating the community on how they overcome physical disabilities to excel at video games, while celebrating the enjoyment and sharing of gaming, no matter the disability.”

Here is the full AbleGamers Twitch community stream schedule:

These AbleGamers community streamers listed above will also be featured on the Twitch homepage at their broadcast time. Viewers can join the fun and show their support for this important cause. You can also show your support by donating to the cause here!

This is especially interesting to me because I love seeing those with disabilities overcome any obstacles they face and find ways to still do what they love. This will be inspiring and encouraging to take part of and I encourage all of you to do the same!

Erica has been fond of gaming since she was 5 years old. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, she was privileged to have experienced the NES, SNES, TurboGrafx 16, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, amongst many other consoles. Do not mistake her classic upbringing for unawareness of today’s generation of gaming. She is up to date with gaming news, the gaming community, as well as the social aspects of gaming. She is fascinated with men and women and how they each view and treat gaming, and above all she keeps gaming in check for what it is meant to be: for fun. So if you want some down to earth commentary and opinions, look no further than Ericutz4thewin.
