Just over a year ago I was able to meet up with Lateef Martin, the creator of the steam – errr cyclepunk zombie comic, Z’Isle, for an exclusive interview. Due to it’s success, the storyline has now branched off into another genre making it’s debut in it’s own strategy RPG. Most notably, the team needs your help to make this dream a reality!
In this video, I speak with Lateef about the story of Z’isle and how it’ll translate into the video game. Lateef and I also discuss the Kickstarter goals for the video game and how the team has been learning and trying to communicate their vision with their fans and onlookers alike. Lateef also makes many thought-provoking points about his desire to ensure people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized groups will be well represented in, not only the Z’isle comic book line, but the video game as well.
Since Pokéfans first heard about Sun and Moon we’ve been on edge waiting for the next big announcement and now we have just have that! Pokémon Sun and Moon will officially be released on November 18th this fall, and this morning we all got to wake up to this awesome treat from Nintendo! Behold, the official trailer introducing your Pokémon Starters, new gameplay and possible Legendaries as they are now officially revealed! Watch in the trailer below:
Today marks the 20th year anniversary since the beginning of Pokémon in 1996. It’s been a long ride that we’ve had together. I have very fond memories of watching Pokémon when it was first aired on TV. As a child I used to wake up early before class to catch a new episode of Poke’mon every morning. I fell in love with the characters, cried through the hardships, and made some lifelong friends along the way. Pokémon is more than just a children’s show with cute characters, as it also teaches you many skills that you can carry over into your everyday life. It’s revolutionary and continues to be. Throughout all the years of battles with friends during recess, to now where I can replay the first copy of Yellow on my 3DS again, Pokémon has taught me some very valuable life lessons along the way.

Ever since it was first announced at June’s E3 that the Xbox One would be soon offering backwards compatibility as a feature, I’ve been on edge waiting for this update to drop as soon as possible. Well the wait is now finally over as a list of the first 104 game titles has been revealed. The new Xbox One Compatibility Program will be released on November 12th, included in the Xbox One “New Experience” update. Not only is backwards compatibility coming with this upgrade, but this will also bring a new update to the console’s dashboard, and playability with your old 360 buddies – all powered by Windows 10
HoB is a beautiful, new adventure game that I think you will all end up enjoying. It displays itself in a stunning to look at world, filled with some uniquely designed enemies, and all with an interesting main character leading the way. When I was offered the opportunity to exclusively play the game and talk with Runic Games developers at PAX Prime this year, of course I was ready for this. Runic Games brought us Torchlight, one of my favorite multiplayer action-RPG games. Now let’s see how they will impress with an immersive single player experience.
Imagine. It’s 7 years after the Zombie Apocalypse in the city of Montreal. As the city is located on an island surrounded by water, Montreal is one of the most ideal places for such an occurrence. The remaining population of the city is still fighting to carry on with life after the initial fear of the outbreak. New communities emerge and fall apart, but one thing is certain – survival is key. This isn’t another “The Walking Dead”, “Night of the Living Dead”, or “Left 4 Dead” story. This is Z’isle, a new perspective of the after-zombie life.
When you first think of symphony, I’m sure you’re imagining a fancy concert hall filled with many older generation adults scurrying along to find the perfect seating – soft whispering and small laughs coming from the many patrons leaving the bar as they scurry along to find the perfect seating. You’d probably also imagine a very special few sitting atop the balcony in box row seats with monocles attached to their eyes for their viewing pleasure and a stage filled to the brim with musical geniuses with a passion for classical music strumming and pounding their hearts away.
Last year Phil Spencer promised that they would show nothing but games at E3 2014, and he definitely held his word. Will this year’s conference be equally as exciting as last year’s? Follow our live blog to find out!
After being spoiled with reveals of some of the most brutal brutalities in history, Mortal Kombat promised that we would see more soon. And they meant really soon! Earlier this day, Netherrealm Studios and Warner Bros revealed a trailer to the all new story mode of Mortal Kombat X, and it looks like it’s going to be an all out Family Affair.
