Carlene spent a few years terrified of video games as a child because of the time limits in the VTech Socrates’ games. One day, she curiously looked over her friend’s shoulder in elementary school and saw her playing Super Mario Bros. on a Game Boy Color. The fear was forgotten and Carlene was instantly smitten. The love affair continues to this day. Generally, she can be found huddled over a PC whether it’s playing games, recording and editing YouTube videos, or struggling to finish writing a game in Twine.
