What I’m Looking Forward to at the Playstation Experience

In case you didn’t already know, Sony is hosting a community event called The Playstation Experience next month in Las Vegas, NV. The event gives fans the chance to unite and experience Playstation on another level. Sony’s social media Senior Manager Sid Shuman has promised it to be a “awesome once-in-a-lifetime event for Playstation fans,” and so far it’s looking to live up to the hype.

2015 has been deemed to be the year of Sony exclusives shining on the PS4. With anticipated exclusives like Bloodborne and The Order: 1886 confirmed to be at Playstation Experience, fans are eager to get their hands on these games. Ironically, the game that initially peeked my interest in this event isn’t an exclusive at all. Once I found out Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series was going to be there, I was in! As a big Game of Thrones and Telltale fan, I am more than excited to get a chance to learn more about the series such as whom the characters are going to be, what the plot will be, and what it will look like.

Second, I am excited to see No Man’s Sky.  Ever since this game was announced, I have been waiting for more news and hoping for a chance to get my hands on it. I had no luck at the Gamestop Expo but now I may finally get my chance with the Playstation Experience. No Man’s Sky is confirmed to be there and playable! Here is the full list (so far) of all the playable games that got me pumped for this event:

  • Battlefield: Hardline
  • Big Fest
  • Bloodborne
  • DC Universe Online — War of the Light Part II and Legends PvE Co-Op Missions
  • Destiny Expansion 1: The Dark Below
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse
  • Dying Light
  • Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series
  • Grim Fandango
  • Helldivers
  • Journey (PS4)
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • PlanetSide 2
  • Tales from the Borderlands
  • Tearaway Unfolded
  • The Order: 1886
  • The Tomorrow Children
  • The Witness
  • Until Dawn

According to an update from Gamespot, Batman: Arkham Knight and Uncharted 4 will also be featured at the Playstation Experience. Will they be playable? I can only hope! Uncharted 4 is definitely one of my most anticipated exclusives along with The Order: 1886 to come to the PS4. Also, Shuman revealed last week: “We’re gearing up for announcements, panels, booths, merchandise, and playable games from these major game studios:

So the guessing game continues as more news is soon to come! What else could be up Sony’s sleeves? The Playstation Experience unites gamers Dec 6-7. Tickets are on sale now!
