PorkChop and FlatScreen: An Awesome Web Series

PCFS: Strong is the new cute!

I loved watching cartoons growing up. You know, the ones that left a great impression on you? They would be funny and silly and then turn serious for a second, or they would make your day. I also loved that look of a cartoon that took a while to make by hand and the creator put their passion into it. The life lessons that you learned during cartoons was something else. Cartoons can be pretty fun to watch, but nowadays, with the 3D genre rolling in and not stopping anytime soon, you can’t get that old cartoon vibe back. I felt really bored watching the same reruns of the same cartoons over and over again, until one day while I was strolling through YouTube, I was able to find something that was just as amazing. Introducing Pork Chop and Flat Screen!

What I like about this show

Pork Chop and Flat Screen is about being perfect the way you are, but mostly about women ninjas. It’s an exciting show that begins with two girls starting a new school with a secret, that they are ninjas. As the story progresses, we see more of the main characters lives and how they came to be in certain circumstances. This show has drama, character, friendship, love, hate, violence, destruction, madness,s and most of all ninj’s and bad amazing women (and some guys) that can kick some major bottoms.

This web cartoon is written and drawn by the same guy. He even writes his own music for the cartoon. I love watching each episode that churns out at least every few months. It may take a while, but to me, that is because true art takes time to draw (and cartoons by hand).  To me, this show is super and totally awesome.
