Bungie will reveal what’s next for ‘Destiny 2’ on August 24

Destiny 2 Fans will soon find out more about the future of the game. Bungie will host the showcase on August 24, and although there are not many concrete details, it is very likely that the studio will reveal further details about the upcoming expansion, Queen Witch.

Pictures of Bungie Sharing Teaser gave some instructions about what was in the store. Along with the tagline that read “Congratulations on Truth,” there are symbols that have been associated with Savathun, Queen Hive Witch. Savathun is also known as “Queen Lies” and “deceptive sisters,” which certainly has a relationship with the “congratulations of the truth” line.

Bungie has planted seeds for a greater focus on Savathun in recent months, after years of tempting about characters. The 14 season has seen The Vex enforcing endless night in the last city, and (spoiler warning) seems to be Savathun behind everything. It gives trust in Savathun rumors to be the main criminal in the expansion of Witch Queen.

What’s more, said the studio in February that it would have more to share about “The Witch Queen and outside” at the end of summer. Showcase time matches it.

Earlier this year, Bungie postponed the Witch Queen to 2022, partly due to the impact of Covid-19. The studio has long thought about shifting its annual expansion into the first half every year, “especially for the health of the team.”

Meanwhile, Cross-Play is scheduled to live with season 15. We may learn more details about important changes during the showcase. This season is scheduled to end on the day of the event. Season 15 must begin immediately after that.
