Torrei Hart (born Torrei Skipper on Feb. 28, 1978 in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actress, producer, and tv personality. Raised in a close-knit family, Torrei began studying acting and therefore the arts at a young age. She started in numerous plays and productions placed on at Winslow Township highschool . After graduating, she enrolled in junior college of Philadelphia, where she met fellow actor and comedian Kevin Hart. The 2 fell crazy and relocated to l. a. together. As Kevin’s career took off, Torrei pursued her own career, landing national commercials for Toyota, Ebay and parts in various films. In 2012, Torrei launched the YouTube comedy channel PrettyFunnyFish, resulting in her developing an outsized online following. She was also a featured personality on the 2014 VHI reality television program Atlanta Exes. Torrei also has an eye fixed for business. In 2014, she launched her own brand of low-calorie, low-sugar drink mixers. She is also behind Heavenly Hart, a line of natural hair care products. In 2017, she was cast as Melinda within the movie Perfectly Single, alongside Omar Gooding, Joe Torry, and Erica Hubbard.
