Netflix employs a former Exec apple to lead its podcasts
Netflix has employed N’Jeri Eaton, a former head of content for Apple podcasts, to lead to the operation of the podcast itself. According to varieties, he is the first person to lead Podcast Netflix programming, which shows streaming service commitments for audio content. Netflix has long released a show of companion talks for original films and TV series, including those for crowns, Witcher and foreigners. Eaton will now keep an eye on the companion audio show, and whatever produced by the company.
New executives will be part of the editorial team and publishing the company, which will be under the leadership of Michelle Lee, the former Head of the Allure Editor. Lee and Eaton will join streaming services later this month. When Bloomberg Notes, Netflix expanded its overall editorial and publishing division and had fostered a stable journalist. Eaton and Lee will report to Netflix CMO Bozoma Saint John, who also used to be an Apple executive.
Before joining Apple on August 2020, Eaton worked in NPR for four years, where he obtained talent, content, and new partnerships. He announced his departure from Apple in Tweet on July 2 and recently confirmed that he joined Netflix as head of podcasts.
