NKYBF Cast: Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh To Play Lead Roles In the Web Series

Never Kiss Your Best Friend is an easy-going narrative that most millennials can relate to. The first season of the series is a classic story of a boy and a girl meeting, becoming friends and then falling in love in the end. Aside from the more-than-friends theme, Season 1 also tackles issues including peer pressure, homophobia, open relationships, and narcotics. With the first season receiving a great response, NKYBF 2 is expected to be even better. This time Sumer (Nakuul Mehta) and Tanie (Anya Singh) are forced to reunite post break up and have to face each other again after being apart for years.

All episodes of the upcoming season of NKYBF will be available to stream on the ZEE5 from 29th April. The trailer of NKYBF S2 is already out on the web, the upcoming season is centred around individuals dealing with complicated feelings. Nakuul Mehta

Nakuul essays the lead role in the web series as Sumer Singh Dhillon. The brilliant actor adds varying shades to his character, which is a delight to watch. In the new season, Sumer reconnects with Tanie and starts growing closer to a new lady, Lavanya.

Anya Singh

Tanie Brar, performed by Anya Singh of the popular band Qaidi, does an excellent job in this role. The actor will be reprising her role in NKYBF 2, and she seems to have a new love interest apart from Sumer, her ex-partner.

Karan Wahi

The super talented Karan Wahi has joined the cast of Season 2. He is a popular face among the youth and has bagged a role in NKYBF. Karan’s character Karan Saxena is suave and charming and a successful Meraki actor.

Sarah Jane Dias

Sarah Jane Dias will be seen in the second season of Never Kiss Your Best Friend. Dias plays the character Lavanya, who is the heir to the Meraki legacy. She is also struggling to make a name for herself while she is constantly judged by the world for her past.

Niki Walia

Niki is a great actor who has worked in many television series and films. She will now be essaying the role of a Punjabi mother in the UK. She is like a Happy Punjaban Aunty in the new season. The actress also had to gain a few pounds to look the part.

Javed Jaffrey

Javed Jaffrey plays a supporting role in the series. He is the over the top rockstar Bitto Mama who is also a control freak. Bitto Mama constantly reminds Anya to wash her hands and sanitise before making meals for him, among other annoying habits. Jaffrey plays his part well, conjuring the annoyance the screenplay demands.
